8. Safety

When we feel safe in public spaces, it changes the way we find and use public spaces.

Public spaces are safer when they:

  • are inclusive
  • support diversity
  • make people feel they belong.

  • ages
  • backgrounds and cultures.

  • encourage positive interactions with each other
  • think about ways to stop crime.
